Our Vision at Thrive AZ is to help prevent children from being removed from their families due to the lack of basic needs and resources, reunify children from the Foster Care system with their biological families, and partner with Aged Out young adults as they transition into adulthood. Working in cooperation with Arizona Department of Child Safety caseworkers and community social workers, we connect our clients with community partners to help provide the basic needs required by the Arizona Department of Child Safety.

Client Eligibility:

• An Open Case with the Department of Child Safety OR Aged Out of the Foster Care system between 18-24 yrs old (Aged Out young adults DO NOT have to still be receiving services thru YAP or TILP)

• Ability to give information regarding open case and personal contact information

• The Department of Child Safety (or other community agency) must submit an Agency Referral Form on behalf of the client

To assist our families in overcoming their obstacles and meeting their goals, Thrive AZ provides the following resources to our families at no charge:

• A brand new bed, sheets, pillows, and blanket

• Other furniture, household items, and cleaning and hygiene items

• Support and encouragement through the client’s specific situation

• Referrals to community agencies/programs

Thrive AZ also offers a transitional housing program for youth who have Aged Out of the Foster Care System. To find out more info on our transitional housing, click here.
